Methodology: 2-day theoretical-practical course.

This course will provide the student with materials worth more than €300.
The main objective of this course, which is taught by the Dr. Fernando Autrán, is to understand the stratification technique and become familiar with the different degrees of opacity and the correct combination of these to obtain predictable results, both in teeth with normal colors and in severe discolorations.
We will dedicate half of the course to doing practices on models specially prepared for this course. We will start by creating a personalized guide to composites This will help us understand the fundamentals of opacity/transparency in composites. We will then address this step-by-step with layered veneers, two worn central veneers, one with an A2 shade, and the other with severe discoloration. Finally, we will review the complete polishing sequence to perfectly mimic the primary, secondary, and tertiary anatomy of natural teeth.
