- Despite having extensive training in different disciplines of the specialty, including a postgraduate degree in Implantology, his training in Dental Aesthetics, the specialty to which he oriented his professional career, is the most notable feature of his resume.
- He has numerous courses and postgraduate degrees, such as the Postgraduate Diploma in Dental Aesthetics from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas; the Advanced Restorative Certificate of Esthetics from the University of Texas; a Diploma in Aesthetic Dentistry from the AEED; and a Master of Arts in Direct Resin Bonding from the Center for Esthetic Excellence (Chicago). He is a member of several scientific societies, including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, where he is part of the President's Honor Roll.
- Since 1997, he has been Secretary of the Board of the Spanish Association of Dental Aesthetics and has been a scientific advisor to the Journal of the General Council of Dentists and Stomatologists of Spain in the area of Dental Aesthetics.
- His extensive resume includes participation as a Speaker in different Congresses, both national and international.
- He has given lectures at the International Congress of Dental Aesthetics held in Cuba, as well as taught courses at the University of Puerto Rico. He is a regular speaker at the Academy of Medical Sciences of Catalonia and various Official Colleges of Stomatologists and Dentists in Spain.
- In 2000 he was President of the International Congress of Dental Aesthetics, which was organized and held in Barcelona.
- Continuing with the teaching area, he has been a collaborating professor of Integrated Adult Dentistry at the University of Barcelona, he has been a visiting professor in the Master of Dental Aesthetics at the University of the Balearic Islands, the Master of Dental Aesthetics at the University of Valencia, and he has been a visiting professor in the Master of Dental Aesthetics at the European University of Madrid
- In 2000, he created the Excellence in Anterior Composites Cycle, which annually brings together professionals from Spain and Portugal who come to improve in the field of Dental Aesthetics, and especially in complex techniques with composites.
- In 2011 he was appointed Director of the Academic Postgraduate Program in Dental Aesthetics and Cosmetics at the SCOE of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Catalonia and the Balearic Islands, a position he holds to this day.
- Visiting professor on the Master's programs in Aesthetics and Aesthetic Rehabilitation at the Universities of Almería, Salamanca, Valladolid, and UCAM. Since 2014, he is currently a member of the Board of the Catalan Society of Dentistry and Stomatology.
- He practices privately in Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dentistry exclusively at the Autrán Dental clinic, of which he is also a founding partner and Medical Director.
